Homemade Flavor from a Jar?!?
Having grown up in New York City, and specifically in predominantly Italian neighborhoods in the Bronx, I've had plenty of hearty, old-world Italian food, including slow-cooked homemade pasta and spaghetti sauces that basically ruined my palate for store-bought sauce in a jar.
