Mullen's Apple Sauce, an old-fashioned, all-natural apple sauce that tastes like apple pie without the crust. Enjoy!
3 lbs pork loin
36 oz sauerkraut (3 bags' worth)
2 apples, peeled, cored & chopped into small pieces
1 bottle beer (regular or dark - we like to use Sam Adams Boston Lager)
Big Daddy’s Superb Herb Seasoning
Place the pork, apples, kraut and beer in the crock pot. Add 4 or 5 healthy shakes (approx. 1 or 2 Tbs or more) of Big Daddy's Superb Herb Seasoning. Cook 4 hours on High, then set the crockpot to Low and continue cooking for about 20 hours or until the pork is falling apart. Stir from time to time towards the end of the cooking time to break up the pork. Serve with a side of applesauce, and your favorite starch such as potatoes or rice.
PS: Mullen's Apple Sauce and Big Daddy's Superb Herb Seasoning are both on sale now at the Carolina Sauce Company!
