Craig's Jones'en Espresso Barbecue Sauce

A barbeque sauce made with coffee?!? I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I got ready to taste Craig's Jones'en Espresso Barbecue Sauce, but boy was I in for a treat! Chef Craig Jones of Johnstown PA has a real masterpiece here (and I ain't talkin' K.C., either). This bold, slightly sweet & slightly smoky BBQ sauce starts off with a tomato-vinegar base that's thick and rich, and is enhanced with bits of onion and garlic for texture and an infusion of coffee that adds dark, deep layers of flavor notes (no, you don't taste the coffee per se, but you can tell there's something special going on with the ingredients). The result is a gourmet sauce that just begs to be slathered on ribs and other meat, including chicken and game. Use Craig's Jones'en Espresso Barbecue Sauce for mopping, marinating, basting and dipping, or stir some into your baked beans or meatloaf recipe. Unlike any other sauce on the market, this Espresso Barbecue Sauce just might start a new trend!
