We're Giving Away FREE Sauce - Find Out More...

Carolina Sauce Company Facebook Giveaway
November Prize Pack
Here's your chance to win this Prize Pack of zesty sauces and seasonings from the Carolina Sauce Company! We're giving away the following full-size products to one lucky person:

*Bee Sting Pineapple-Guava Pepper Sauce, a lusciously spicy-sweet blend of tropical fruit and chile peppers for festive flavor with a feisty medium kick. Divinely delicious on chicken, meats, seafood and vegetarian dishes.

*Pickapeppa Brown Sauce, a savory all-purpose table sauce from Jamaica that's similar to a steak sauce but with island spices for intriguingly complex flavor notes. Wonderful with hearty dishes like roasts, stews, steaks, soups, chili and other bean dishes, as well as grilled and broiled meats and poultry.

*Melinda's Spicy Mesquite Habanero BBQ Sauce, an all-natural tomato-mustard barbecue sauce that's thick and rich, with just the right balance of sweetness and tang, earthy smokiness and a fiery finish.

*Adams Ultimate Rib Rubb (a Prize Pack extra, not available online!), one of North Carolina's best BBQ rubs and seasonings that's great with everything from ribs, chops, roasts and pork butt to steaks, chicken, shrimp and even salmon. Its savory-sweet-spicy flavor is finger-lickin' good, and it helps tenderize even the toughest cut of meat.

If you'd like to win this FREE prize pack, here's how:

1. Find our November 1st Crock Pot Game post on the Carolina Sauce Company Facebook page (make sure you "Like" us on Facebook).

2.  Post a comment there with your guess as to what's cooking.  You don't need to guess correctly to win; simply leave a comment and you're eligible, as long as you have a US shipping address so that we can send the sauces to you (we can't ship to non-US addresses, but we CAN ship to APO/FPO, Puerto Rico, and US Territories).

Below is a photo showing most of the ingredients (also used but not pictured are chicken broth and tomato paste), and a photo of the finished dish follows:

Here are your BONUS clues:  My version of this traditional Southern recipe OMITS lima beans, which are usually included. Greg hates lima beans, so you won't find them here. My recipe INCLUDES okra, which is a common substitute for limas in this recipe, and uses cayenne instead of black pepper. Some versions also add barbecue sauce, bell pepper, pork and even squirrel! None of the Prize Pack products were used in the recipe.

Please Note: You can guess and comment as often as you like, BUT only one (1) comment per person will be counted. In other words, each person who comments has 1 chance to win, no matter how many times they comment.

The winner will be randomly chosen and announced on our Facebook page around 8:30 am EST on Monday, November 5th, together with the correct answer and the recipe as part of our Meaty Monday feature.

Make sure to check our Facebook page and your Timeline or News Feed around 8:30 am EST on Monday November 5th to see if you're the lucky winner!

Zestfully yours,
Gloria
